Abstract
Bactrian Documents IV contains a new edition of Bactrian birchbark letters from the Afghanistan-Pakistan border region. In this review article distinct orthographical and phonological features found in these documents as well as etymologies for words such as αϸτοοαλγο and φοσαρο are discussed.
