Abstract
In this second issue of the Journal of the Canadian Society for Coptic Studies (JCSCS) we continue to bring together contributions from different disciplines of Coptic studies. This volume contains a selection of papers presented at the Second Annual Coptic Studies Symposium held at the University of Toronto on March 21, 2009. The symposium was organized in collaboration with the University of Toronto Art Centre (UTAC) and featured the seldom-seen Coptic artefacts from the UTAC’s Malcove Collection. Appropriately, the theme of the Symposium was “Coptic Heritage: History and Creativity.”
